quantlib-python software package provides Python bindings for the Quantlib Quantitative Finance library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install quantlib-python
quantlib-python is installed in your system.
Make ensure the quantlib-python package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep quantlib-python *
You will get with quantlib-python package name, version, architecture and description in a table
